April is making me learn the didgeridoo
My wife informed me today through a single-link email that if I want to sleep in our bedroom again, I have to learn to play the didgeridoo in order to stop snoring. See video.
So I decided on a genuine termite-hollowed eucalyptus digeridoo. It was on sale due to “shop wear”. Here is a picture.
Now I have to say that the description of this particular instrument is quite compelling. I hope that my playing will someday live up to this digde’s promise.
Performance quality sound and playability with a crisp voice. Absolutely perfect for a beginner and very good bargain at this price point. Nice and loud, great for taking along to drum circles or jam sessions with friends! It’s fun and intuitive to play so you’ll get the best out of it straight away. Malleable tone colors and harmonics. High frequency insectile buzzes and whip-snapping response to tongued and diaphragmatic riddims. Three easy horn tones that are warm against the drone and always ready to toot. Perfect backpressure for its size and pitch make the circular breathing technique easier. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like a demo over the phone. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.
This instrument was made by a man named Jirri Jirri from New South Wales. The painting represents Gunyal the Goanna Lizard. Still need to find out what that’s all about.
I will post more pics and recordings once it arrives.
