Each week I get the jitters waiting to see what new works will be available from the 20×200 site. They make 200 prints of a work from a contemporary artist available for $20. Frequently these prints sell out minutes after they’re posted. I’ve only purchased one print for my wife. It went along with a tree theme she has going in her sewing/craft space. There have been many that I’ve wanted, but I’m on a spending diet right now.

I have seen a number of type-based artwork recently, and it generally strikes me as clumsy or gimmicky. I think Ziggurat 5, pictured here, and Bonaparte 9 are both quite stunning. I also like the logo of Superdeluxe, the design team that produced the images. They seem to have the overlapping light gel colors down to a science.
