Awesome Spiderman drawings

coffeespidermans_smll.jpg

Scott Campbell did a series of Spiderman drawings for a show in L.A. at Gallery 1988. They’re so funny, the way they place a bunch of Spidermans in mundane or silly, playful situations. The whole “power” part of the superhero is just ignored in these pictures, and they seem more fun for it.

Bloo Empire also did a piece for the show!

I finally finished my Spock portrait

Spock by blakewest

Based on Ape Lad’s Spock illustration for BoingBoing TV.

@mirambo – They are definitely NOT aquadots. I didn’t even know about these until you commented. Between this CNN article and the recall, they seem quite hazardous.

This picture uses used Ikea Pyssla beads (often called perler beads). You use a special sheet of paper and a hot iron to bind the beads together.

Laugh-Out-Loud Cats #689

I just received my very own Laugh Out Loud Cats comic from Ape Lad. I’m mighty pleased, having requested a “im in ur X, Y-ing ur Z” theme.

Thanks, Ape Lad!

Take that, suckers!

This post, more than any other, explains why Creed Bratton is my personal hero.

They send you a little four inch by four inch square of the stuff and right away I could tell how comfortable it would be if I had the full mattress. So I did what any smart person would do. I made up four hundred fake names and now I’m just waiting for the rest of my free samples to arrive.

I Got What America Needs Right Here

Sometimes I’m a little stupid, maybe, a little slow in the head, so I’m wondering if you can help me get something straight….
